I participated in the third Bienniel Conference of the Asian Society of International Law, held from 26th to 27th August in Beijing, China. I made a short presentation on the relationship between international criminal jurisdictions and universal jurisdictions in a panel session of International Criminal Law, chaired by Professor Zhu Wenqi of Renmin University, China. Another panelist was Ms. Seunghyun Sally Nam and she discussed the importance of regional and especially Asian countries’ cooperation towards international crimes. It was great experience that I had numerous questions for my paper at an international conference. I am very grateful to the conference organizers, the audience of the International Criminal Law panel, disinguished professors, and Professor Zhu Wenqi.
